Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown – Jeff Kinney

When snow shuts down Greg Heffley’s middle school, his neighborhood is transformed into a frozen battleground.

In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown, the thirteenth book in Jeff Kinney’s bestselling series, a massive snowstorm brings everything to a halt, and the kids of Greg’s neighborhood divide into rival groups for an all-out snowball war. Teams form, alliances shift and fortresses rise, and Greg and his best friend Rowley must decide which side they are on and how to survive the battle.

As the snow piles up, Greg schemes, strategizes and tries to come out on top, but things rarely go according to plan. Between enemy attacks, wet socks, sledding mishaps and the occasional moment of genuine friendship, Greg and Rowley learn just how much a snow day can test a partnership.

Told in Greg’s unmistakable voice and filled with Kinney’s famous cartoon drawings, the book captures the excitement of winter fun and the chaos of neighborhood rivalries, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments for readers of all ages.

Perfect for winter reading and a great gift for fans of the series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown is ideal for readers aged eight and up, including reluctant readers who love funny stories told with plenty of pictures. Grab a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate and join Greg for an epic snow day.
