The Bourne Supremacy – Robert Ludlum

David Webb has left behind the identity of Jason Bourne, the deadly assassin he once pretended to be. Living quietly as a university professor in Maine with his wife, Marie, he is still slowly piecing together a past that amnesia had stolen from him.

Then the nightmare returns. In the Far East, someone is killing in the name of Jason Bourne, and the killings threaten to ignite a political crisis that could plunge Hong Kong and China into chaos. To force the real Bourne back into action, powerful men in Washington take Marie hostage. To save her, David must become the man he swore never to be again, travel to Hong Kong, Macau and Beijing, and hunt down the impostor who has stolen his name.

Caught between ruthless government handlers, criminal networks and an assassin who mirrors his every move, Webb must rely on the lethal skills and instincts of Jason Bourne while struggling not to lose himself completely. Meanwhile, Marie proves to be far more resourceful than her captors expected.
