Eliyahu M. Goldratt

Dr. Eliyahu M. Goldratt was an Israeli physicist turned business management guru who pioneered the Theory of Constraints (TOC). Combining his scientific background with corporate operations, he dedicated his life to developing logical frameworks to optimize complex manufacturing and organizational systems.

He is best known for his revolutionary 1984 business novel The Goal: A Process of Ongoing Improvement, which introduced the Theory of Constraints through an engaging narrative. His subsequent works, including It’s Not Luck and Critical Chain, further expanded his management philosophies.

Dr. Goldratt’s theories fundamentally altered how global industries approach supply chain management, project planning, and bottleneck resolution. The Goal remains a mandatory text in business schools and boardrooms around the world.
