The Lions of Lucerne – Brad Thor
High in the mountains of Utah, the President of the United States is enjoying a ski vacation when a team of highly trained assassins strikes. In a brutal, well-planned attack, the Secret Service detail is decimated and the President is kidnapped.
Scot Harvath, a former Navy SEAL serving on the President’s protection team, is one of the few survivors. As the official investigation points in a convenient direction, Harvath becomes convinced that the truth is far more complicated, and that powerful people inside the government may be involved. When he follows his instincts, he finds himself framed and hunted by the very agencies he once served.
Following a trail that leads from the snowy American West to the Swiss Alps, Harvath teams up with an unlikely ally and races to uncover a conspiracy that threatens the presidency itself. Along the way he must rely on his combat skills, his ingenuity and his refusal to give up.
The Lions of Lucerne is the explosive debut thriller by Brad Thor and the first novel to feature Scot Harvath, who has since become one of the most popular heroes in modern thriller fiction.
Packed with action, plot twists and authentic detail about security and special operations, it is perfect for fans of Vince Flynn, Tom Clancy and Daniel Silva, and the ideal starting point for readers who want to follow Harvath’s adventures from the very beginning.
