Daniel Kahneman

Daniel Kahneman was an Israeli-American psychologist and economist notable for his pioneering work on the psychology of judgment and decision-making. As a brilliant academic, he fundamentally challenged the assumption of human rationality that had long prevailed in modern economic theory.

He is best known for his international bestseller Thinking, Fast and Slow, which masterfully summarizes decades of research into cognitive biases and the dual-process model of the brain. In 2002, he was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for integrating psychological insights into economic science.

Kahneman’s collaborative work with Amos Tversky established the influential field of behavioral economics, altering how institutions understand human behavior. His profound insights continue to influence disciplines ranging from public policy to corporate strategy and finance.
